Sinem Sin Okur

Sinem Sin Okur has deep expertise in climate finance, green finance, capacity building, project finance, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement, which has led to contributing to the development of customized green financial products, developing green finance roadmaps & frameworks, developing scalable green finance strategies, securing climate finance, developing climate-resilient projects, organizing e-learning programs and face-to-face training, and implementing climate policies.

Her current role at Profinstance Project Finance Advisory & Training Incorporation involves providing services in project finance, climate finance, public-private partnership, corporate finance, financial due diligence based financial advisory services to a wide range of customer base from corporate sponsors, municipal corporations, national and international financial institutions to governmental agencies in Europe (inc. Turkey), Central Asia and Middle East.

She is currently working on strengthening the technical capacity of financial institutions to access and invest in green finance through broadening the mechanisms to disburse investments and assess risks in Middle East, Central Asia and Türkiye.

Current advisory practice is leveraged by extensive Corporate Banking and Project Finance experience, having managed a portfolio of 5 billion Euros across various large-scale power plants, transportation, and infrastructure projects at Vakıfbank (Public Bank).
